A memorable live album from the year when Robert Fripp's heartthrob, Bill Rieflin, returned to the band, making it the largest 8-piece Crimson lineup in history. Chicago is Crimson's American home away from home, and includes a June 28, 2017 performance at the Chicago Theatre. The album features the best live performance of Re-Imagine Crimson's many live albums since 2014, and is a masterpiece. Especially, check out the suite parts, which are excerpts of "Song of Dawn," "The Last Battle," and "Prince Rupert's Lament" from "Lizard," which was one of the most talked-about songs performed that year. In particular, the guitar solo in "Prince Rupert's Lament," which was weak in the studio version due to mixing problems, is a moving moment that can only be experienced live.
