The 21st in the All Days Records Presents "60's Garage Disc Guide" series of linked reissues supervised by Jimmy Masuko. 2 titlesThe first album of garage classics by a high school band from Greenwood, with a lot of bonus tracks! The Ganz are a band from Mississippi led by 17-year-old high school student Sid Herring, who had a hit with their cover of Bo Diddley's "Road Runner," reaching #46 in the US. The band never got the recognition they deserved because of the label's lackluster second album, "Gants Galore," which consisted entirely of covers, but as you can hear in "I Wonder," also on Nuggets, Haring's original Beatles-like numbers are a real showcase of talent and spark. and spark. This album is a selection of Haring's original numbers from his three remaining albums and singles. This album is a great opportunity for you to experience again the charm of the Mississippi teen band that was full of talent but never got the chance to make it.
