Lamotta Suzume, a new generation soul singer from Tel Aviv, Israel, have finally completed their collaboration album "Searching Skies". Buda Munk, known worldwide for his releases on Jazzy Sport, Dogear Records, Delicious Vinyl, and Fat Beats, a well-known label in the U.S. hip-hop scene, is a beatmaker who has established his own style, mainly in the style of boom-bap, but also pursuing his own unique swell of beats and lyrical expression. He is a beatmaker.J. LaMotta Suzume is a singer with a soft, clear voice, as well as a beatmaker and musician who also plays guitar and pocket trumpet. After receiving her jazz education in Tel Aviv, she has been active in the Berlin beat scene. Having worked without borders in their respective locations, the two musicians share each other's "J Dilla-inspired creations" and have been creating music across borders ever since they met in 2018. The resulting album is a collection of 10 expressive songs, including the floating lead track "Eyes To The Skies," the broken beat arrangement of "Running Slow," and the rich melody lines of "Carry On" and "The Very Thought Of You" (+ The Japanese version includes one additional bonus track: 11 songs in all. The production, which is the result of the two beat-makers, is also a highlight of the album.
