The recording features Mendelssohn's Cello Sonata No. 2, as well as works by Milhaud, Reger, and Martineau (Martineau). Neveu's greatest appeal lies in her solid technique and individualistic expression, and this collection of recordings also features a magnificent performance that shows Neveu's strengths at their best. It is a pleasure to see that Spectrum Sound has reissued the recordings in a high quality reissue with perfect re-mastering.
