Aki Yashiro, the "Queen of Enka" and the pride of the Japanese music world, celebrates her 45th anniversary as a singer with the release of her 2015 blues album on SACD hybrid. Yasu Teraoka Yobito, who has worked with Yuzu, Mr. Children, and others, is the total producer, and Yoichi Murata of the world-renowned SOLID BRASS is the arranger. The production was planned by Stereo Sound Inc. and manufactured and released by Nippon Columbia, and the studio's chief engineer, Masahiro TABAYASHI, put all his effort into the production. In order to convey the charm of Aki Yashiro's vocals in a straightforward and maximum manner, the 5.6 MHz DSD master was produced with the minimum necessary sound adjustment in the analog domain.You can enjoy the "sound" full of dynamism. From American blues standards such as "St. Louis Blues," a famous song by Louis Armstrong, "The Thrill Is Gone," a hit by BB King, "Yume wa Yoru Hiraku," a hit by Keiko Fuji, and Noriko Awatani's representative song, "Farewell Blues," to the famous blues songs of the Showa period, the collection includes a wide variety of songs from the 1950's to the 1960's.
