A solo world of dignified tones. One of the most sought-after violinists of our time, Naoyoshi Aoki continues to make further strides with his appointment as a converse of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra in 2022. This is a session recording made the day before the complete concert of Ysaÿe's unaccompanied sonatas at Kioi Hall, and it is a piece that shows Aoki's ability as an "individual" due to his concentration and earnest attitude. Please enjoy the performance of this young talent with all her might. ＜Aoki graduated from the Royal College of Music in England with first class honors and was awarded the Tagore Gold Medal by then Prince Charles. She has studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the University of Music in Munich. In 2014, she won the second prize at the International Ron-Thibault-Crespin Competition and the Grand Duke of Monaco's Albert II Prize. He also won the first prize at the 78th Japan Music Competition. She has performed with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Yomiuri Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, and other orchestras around Japan, and has received high acclaim for her recitals at the Tokyo Spring Music Festival and other venues.He received particular acclaim for his performances of the Sibelius Violin Concerto with Tugan Sohiyev/Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and Paavo Järvi/NHK Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, after a one and a half year probationary period, he was officially appointed concertmaster of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. He also actively performs chamber music there. The instrument he plays is an Antonio Stradivarius "Rodewald" made in 1713. The instrument is on loan through the courtesy of its private owner. Octavia Records
