The second volume of the complete works for keyboard by J.S. Bach, featuring the brilliant technique and stoicism of Banjaman Arar, a full-fledged genius! Includes music by Bach's predecessors who were the foundation of the young Bach's keyboard music. The first volume (KKC 5918/ HMM 902450) includes music composed by J.S. Bach in his teens between 1699 and 1705. In this second volume, entitled "To the North," Bach's works and those of his predecessors are included from the period when he left his brother at the age of 15 for Lüneburg in northern Germany, where he encountered the organ music of Georg Böhm and Reinken, and when he was 20 years old he became devoted to Buxtehude in Lübeck. Bach and the works of his predecessors. It is interesting to note that the music of Buxtehude, Reinken, and Pachelbel formed the basis of the young Bach's style of keyboard composition.Arall visited Japan in December 2018 and captivated audiences with his young maestro-like music that combines brilliant technique and stoicism in his organ playing, as well as overwhelming persuasiveness on the harpsichord. The Arall, who has been active with La Petite Band and other groups and is already known mainly to fans of classical music, is attracting worldwide attention as a systematic recording project. The box also features the use of claviorganum. The claviorganum is an instrument made in the middle of the 18th century that simultaneously sounds strings and pipes, and has the functions of both a harpsichord and an organ. Although Bach did not write any specific works for the claviorganum, Arall performs several pieces on the claviorganum, and we can enjoy the sound of this mysterious and fascinating instrument, which offers the advantages of the harpsichord and the organ at once.
