Charlie XCX, a new generation pop icon who also works as a creator, has announced the release of her long-awaited second full-length album, "CHARLI", her first album in five years since 2014's "SUCKER". Five years may seem like too long a blank in today's fast-paced pop scene, but CHARLI has not been silent during that time. During the past five years, she has been pouring her energies into touring, collaborative projects, producing and releasing singles, and in 2017, she released two mixtapes.These include the avant-pop EP "VROOM VROOM" featuring Scottish producer SOPHIE and others, "Bounce" featuring Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and a mixtape "NUMBER 1 ANGEL" featuring Uffie, Raye, Cupcakke, and many other female artists. The mixtape "NUMBER 1 ANGEL", "Boys" featuring Joe Jonas and Brendon Urie (Charlie himself directed the music video), and the recently released "Dream Glow" with the members of BTS. The album also includes "Boyz" (the music video was directed by Charlie himself) and "Dream Glow" with the members of BTS, which was recently released.
