One of the most important bands in the German experimental rock scene released a new studio album in '23, their first album in 24 years since 1999! The band was formed in '67 by Lutz Ulbrich (g/acoustic-g), who is active in solo and ASHRA, and Christopher Franke (drs), who later supported the golden era of TANGERINE DREAM, and Michael One of the most important bands with key members of the German experimental rock scene, including Manuel Gottsching related artists such as Michael Hoenig (key/electronics), who also participated in the transitional period of TANGERINE DREAM, and others. The band's 23rd studio album "Momentum" will be released from MIG-Music in Germany. The album features Lutz Ulbrich as the only original member, Michael Hoenig, Burghard Rausch (drs), Gustl Lutjens (g), and other members from the 70's. The album is the first studio album since "RIVER OF RETURN" in 1999, and the first studio album since "MOMENTUM" in 2011,The recording is said to have been made by five members, including Gustl, who passed away in '17, and Daniel Cordes (b), and although details are unknown, it is thought to have been recorded around '13, before the band went on hiatus, due to the participation of Gustl, who passed away in '17, and the commonality of the members. The band's sound is a pan-worldly, borderless free ensemble that reflects the ethnic music/middle-eastern orientation while chaotically mixing psychedelic rock, ambient/jazz rock, and other styles, updated with modern equipment and a sound that is directly related to the various live performances from the 10s reunion period that were officially released on "SHIBUYA NIGHTS" and other labels. The band's sound, updated with modern equipment, is a must-listen for fans of the band's unique charm.
