Ivan Fischer is a Hungarian genius who founded the Budapest Festival Orchestra with Zoltán Kocsis and led it to become one of the top orchestras in the world. In recent years, Ivan Fischer has begun to attract attention as a composer as well, and a new series, "Composers' Portraits," has been launched to introduce his portrait as a "composer. Fischer describes himself as a "composing conductor. The portraits feature music inspired by Holland, Italy, Yiddish, Gypsy, Indian raga, and Japanese Noh and Kabuki. In A German Yiddish Cantata for soprano, trumpet, and string orchestra, Ivan is joined by his daughter, soprano Nora Fischer. All music is recorded for the first time in the world. Tokyo M-Plus
