Description:
Yukihiro Nishimoto, who doubles as concertmaster of the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kyukyoku Symphony Orchestra, will give the seventh recital series under the theme of "VIOLINable - Possibilities and Compatibility of Violin". In 2020, the seventh installment of the series, Nishimoto and pianist Keita Ohbushi, who performed together in the second and fourth recitals, were on a full tour together, but Ohbushi fell ill during a test recording just before the Sendai concert. However, during the test recording just before the Sendai concert, Ohbushi became ill. The pianist who was suddenly replaced was Yoshihito Kitabata, who had performed with the orchestra at the 5th and 6th concerts. The two overcame this ordeal brought on by the Corona disaster with their overwhelming concentration and musicality. Because of Nishimoto's strong desire, this album includes both performances with the two pianists who supported the tour. A test session just before the performance with Ohbushi, with whom Nishimoto had toured together and with whom he had a rock-solid ensemble. The live performance with Kitabata, who played so marvelously that it was hard to believe that he had been substituted the day before the concert. This is a miraculous record that resulted from the special circumstances of the "Corona Disaster. (C)RS
