Tatsuya Yoshida will release a CD recording of his duo live performance with Osamu Mishiba at the end of the popular "Piano Jubankatsu" series at Jirokichi in Koenji, Tokyo. The CD includes the entire performance of "Improvisation on a theme given by the audience," which was an unprecedented event in the "Piano Juban Katsudo" series. The work is a true miracle of the audience, with Mishiba's brilliant piano compositions that do not seem improvised, intertwined with precise drumming, and sometimes violent battles between keyboard and percussion instruments. The album also includes a cover of a famous classical piece by Beethoven/Bartok and others, in which Yoshida's furious drumming is layered over Mishiba's virtuosic and superb classical piano solos.
