Starting with the 2026/27 season, he has been appointed Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Janáček Philharmonic in the Czech Republic, a position he will hold concurrently with his current roles as Principal Guest Conductor of the Slovak Philharmonic and Music Director of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. He has already been actively engaged in musical activities even before his official inauguration, and an album featuring Shostakovich’s Symphonies No. 6 and No. 9 is now being released.
