In the first collection, the brass ensemble "Septura" performed works by Mendelssohn, Schumann, and other Romantic composers, and in the second collection, they performed a number of masterpieces from Baroque opera in a new look. In the third collection, the brass ensemble "Septura" takes on the challenge of performing a collection of Russian works. The familiar D-S(Es)-C-H sound that bursts out from Shostakovich at the beginning of the work is very impressive, and it is interesting that this work, which should normally be colored with irony and sorrow, sounds somehow gorgeous. Other works on this album include Prokofiev's early works, Scriabin's radical works, and Rachmaninoff's melancholy celebration of melancholy, and they seem to be pursuing an even richer sound than in the past. Of course, the arrangements are also superb, and they have the same presence as if these works were the originals.The Septura is made up of young brass players from the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Scottish Opera, and the Aurora Orchestra.
