Dance in the Vampire Band", a popular serialization in "Monthly Comic Flapper" (Media Factory / original story: Nozomu Kan), will be adapted into a long-awaited TV anime and DVD volume 3. The powerful tag team of Akiyuki Shinbo (director), Shaft (animation production), and Hiroyuki Yoshino (series composition) will portray the story of a vampire queen who follows her country and her blood. Akiyuki Shinbo, a recent hit maker of character animation and highly acclaimed for his innovative visual sense, is the director, and Hiroyuki Yoshino, known for his story composition skills in such works as "Macross Frontier" and "Code Geass," has been appointed as the series composition. The animation production will be handled by "Shaft," which boasts solid animation and production quality and has produced numerous hits including "Bakemonogatari" with director Shinbo. Akira Kaburaki was leading an ordinary high school life. However, there was a pact he made when he was a child.It is to serve a vampire queen, the king of the night and his household. One day, a girl appears before Akira. She is Mina Tsepesh, the princess of the ancient covenant, the lone queen who rules the vampires and reigns over the darkness of the night. The purpose of her appearance in Japan is to establish a vampire band, a vampire-only settlement.... The appearance of vampires, which was thought to be a fantasy, and the establishment of a special zone in Japan. The people who are perplexed are searching whether they should coexist with vampires or not, and the opposing vampire forces aim to take Mina's life in order to overthrow the queen...
