Their classic heavy metal sound, drawing inspiration from Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queensrÿche, Riot, and Crimson Glory, carries the weight and presence to lead the future of the NWOTHM scene! [Includes Japanese liner notes and song lyrics with English translations] SABER is a heavy metal band based in Los Angeles, USA. Formed in 2018, they blend the traditional sound of the NWOBHM with the glamorous, sleazy aesthetics of the 1980s, establishing a unique presence within the NWOTHM scene—where young traditional metal acts are on the rise. In 2021, they released their debut album, *Without Warning*. Produced and featuring Trevor William Church of HAUNT on drums, the album garnered high praise. It was selected as one of Bandcamp’s Best of the Year and attracted significant attention within the scene. Since then, they have steadily expanded their fanbase through collaborations with bands like NIGHTDEMON and SACREDREICH, as well as numerous festival appearances. Now, SABER’s new album, *Lost In Flames*, is finally making its debut here in Japan. As their second full-length release, this album builds upon a foundation of classic heavy metal influenced by 80s metal acts like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queensrÿche, Riot, and Crimson Glory, while evolving into a more dynamic and energetic sound. The tracks, featuring powerful riffs, fast-paced rhythms, and memorable choruses that come one after another, showcase the band’s growth and strong unity.
