The first in an unprecedented archive series is the Nippon Budokan show! Dream Theater, the band that continues to reign supreme in progressive metal, has collaborated with their own label, Ytsejam Records, and their current label, Inside Out Music, to release a limited-edition archive of live performances, demos, studio outtakes, and other treasured recordings. The first release is a series of official bootlegs titled "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" (meaning "Lost Not Forgotten Sound Collection"). The first of these bootlegs, "Live in Japan 2017," is the first commercial release of the series. The first commercial release will be "Live in Japan 2017," the first concert of a world tour to fully reproduce the album "IMAGES, WORDS & BEYOND - 25th Anniversary Tour," which was held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of their masterpiece second album "Images and Words" in 1992, which became their breakthrough work. The Japanese version includes the entire performance of the album (approx. 68 min.) from the September 11 concert at Nippon Budokan. The Japanese version is a high quality Blu-spec CD2 version.The series will consist of previously unreleased archival material and reissues of previously released works with updated mastering and new artwork, to be released over the next several years.
