Yoshihiro Kai’s long-awaited original full-length album—his first in about 15 years—is set for release. This album is a collection of self-covers of songs Yoshihiro Kai has previously written for other artists; it is positioned as a “best of” self-covers and features a new album comprising the ultimate selection of tracks, supervised and produced by the artist himself. Fifteen years after the release of the self-cover collection *Homecoming*—which was originally released in 2011 as a fan club exclusive and through Kai’s office—this album has been reorganized as *Homecoming: Complete Edition*, featuring a curated selection of 14 gem-like tracks carefully chosen from his past self-cover recordings. Specifically for this album, “Heart to Rock” (originally written for Seiko Matsuda) is included with a new mix. The first-press limited edition comes with a photo book and a DVD. The DVD features the music video for “Heart to Rock,” behind-the-scenes footage, and previously unreleased live footage.
