A masterpiece by Belgian electronic musician Ssaliva, who also releases music under the name "Cupp Cave" on Matthew David's "Leaving" and "RAMP" labels in LA, "Be Me" is now available on silver disc with a bonus track, available only in Japan. A masterpiece of contemporary electronica for all electronic music fans, Be Me features 3D soundscapes of silver candles floating in a transparent ambient fountain, flowing collages, rambling glitches, the warmth of melancholia, and elegant synths. Since the release of their debut cassette tape "Thought Has Wings" (Leaving) in 2011, Ssaliva has been creating abstract and psychedelic soundscapes with a vaporwave and new age flavor, mainly using beat music techniques such as sampling, collage, and screwing, including under the name Cuppa Cave. Ssaliva's latest work, "Be Me," is now available on Ekster, a label that has garnered attention in Belgium, a country known for its thriving acoustic scene. The album, which opens with the ringing of a bell, is based on a collage loop drifting through a lush and transparent 3D space, and is a masterpiece of melancholic glitch noise, grand and divine ambient, elegant synth pieces, and more, applying without regret the ideas, techniques, and influences that have been released under various labels to create a more varied, melodic, and pop-oriented album. The result is a masterpiece that is a true culmination of the ideas, techniques, and influences that have been released under various monikers, and is rich in variety, melody, and pop flavor. The artwork photography is also done by the artist himself.
