Description:

Born in Oita City, Oita Prefecture, Japan, Sakiko Goto began playing the piano at age 3 and violin at age 6. She graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music after studying music at Toho Girls' High School. She won the second prize at the Oita Prefecture Music Competition. She won the 3rd prize at the 5th Yayoi no Sato Junior Music Competition. Selected for the 14th Japan Classical Music Competition. She has attended many master classes including Music Seminar in Tomamu, Akiyoshidai Chamber Music Seminar, Akita Atrion International Chamber Music Seminar, etc. She has performed solo, chamber music, and orchestra in many concerts including MARO Project Chamber Music Concert, Beppu Argerich Music Festival, Kitakyushu International Music Festival, La Folle Journée, and Tokyo Spring Music Festival. In 2013, she took lessons with Erich Höwald in Vienna. She has studied violin with Atsuko Matsumoto, Chieko Kanda, Noriko Shibuta, Shizuko Ishii, and Tomoko Kawada. She has studied chamber music under Isoko Tsuruzono Shiso and Hisaya Dougin. Currently, he is active in a wide range of activities including solo, chamber music, and orchestra, and also teaches younger students. Seiichi Nakajo celloBorn in Tokyo, Seiichi Nakajo began playing the cello at the age of 8.After graduating from the Toho Gakuen School of Music, he completed the research course and the Orchestra Academy at Toho Gakuen School of Music. He then received a scholarship from the Hungarian government to study at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest under Miklós Perenyi. He has participated in the Seiji Ozawa Music School, Pacific Music Festival, Euro Music Festival, and Tokyo Spring Music Festival. He has studied cello under Ryoichi Fujimori, Noboru Kamimura, Hakuro Mori, and Miklos Perenyi. He also studied chamber music under Masanori Tonomura, Ko Iwasaki, Fujio Tokunaga, Hamao Fujiwara, and János Devič. He won the IMA Music Prize at the Ishikawa Music Academy 2013 and the 2nd prize at the Balassagyarmat International Competition 2016 (Hungary). She has performed chamber music with Gerhard Opitz and Midori Goto, and in 2022, she performed D Honani's Konzertstück with the Royal Chamber Orchestra. She is a member of Chisako Takashima with SuperCellists. She is currently active as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestrator. Ayumu Yamanaka pianoAyumu Yamanaka was born in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture.Started playing the piano at the age of five. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and completed the master's course at the same university. Completed the piano soloist program at the Liszt Ferenc University of Music in Hungary (Liszt School of Music). She won first prize at the 21st Takarazuka Vega Music Competition, first prize in the piano section of the 27th Edogawa Ward Newcomers' Concert, the 26th Settsu Music Festival Gold Prize and Audience Prize, and many other competitions. She was a semifinalist at the 11th Liszt International Piano Competition in the Netherlands. She received the 38th Kurokawa Rokuro Prize (Himeji Bunren) and the 43rd Himeji City Art and Culture Encouragement Prize. She has given recitals in Japan and abroad, and appeared in many concerts including the Himeji Parnassus Music Festival, the 50th Anniversary of Settsu City Government, concerts sponsored by the Embassy of Japan in Hungary, the Liszt Festival (Budapest), Osaka Classics, etc. She appeared on NHK-FM's "Recital Passio". Performed piano concertos with Century Orchestra Japan, Yokohama Symphony Orchestra, Philoni Chamber Orchestra, and Himeji Symphony Orchestra. She is also active as a chamber musician and accompanist, performing with numerous musicians, and has been a part-time lecturer in the piano department at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music since the 2020 academic year, where she also devotes herself to teaching younger students.(2/2) ALM RECORDS/Kojima Recording
