This is the seventh album in three years by Finnish melodic death metal band Mors Principium Est, which has been in existence for over 20 years. The band's name means "death is only the beginning" in Latin. It is a melodic death metal album with a sense of melancholy. The drums are played by Marco Tommila, who has been playing drums on this album since the band's third album "Liberation Termination" (2007). The bonus track on the Japanese edition is a cover of Muse's "Uprising. The bonus track on the Japanese release is a cover of Muse's "Uprising," a melodic death metal song in the style of MOLUS PRINCIPIUM ESTO.
