Tango is a folk music that originated in the Boca area near Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, in the late 19th century. In the 20th century, the style of playing changed to that favored by Europeans and became known as "continental tango" to distinguish between the two. This CD release is a CD version of the LP record (which also includes Argentine Tango) originally released in the U.S. in 1969, with two bonus tracks. Latest remastering.
