The soundtrack of "PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL," the first musical for which he composed the music, has finally been released on CD. PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL" is a 1990 romantic comedy film starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. In this lighthearted depiction of the story of a Hollywood prostitute, Vivian, and a Wall Street businessman, Edward, who meet by chance and encounter their dreams and find love, many hit songs, including Roy Orbison's "Oh, Pretty Woman," graced the screen.The hit movie is now a musical! The musical version, which opened on Broadway in the summer of 2018, is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, the Tony Award-winning director of "Kinky Boots" and "Hairspray. The screenplay is by J.F. Lawton, who also wrote the original film, and director Gary Marshall. Music is by Bryan Adams with Jim Vallance.
