This album contains the Sonata in C minor Wq78 (H514), Sonata in B-flat major Wq77 (H513), Arioso in A major Wq79 (H535), and Sonata in A minor Wq76 (H512) from his works for violin and piano. 512). Born the second son of Johann Sebastian, Carl Philipp Emanuel was court musician and harpsichordist to Frederick the Great of Prussia from 1740. He continued to compose and perform vigorously and left behind many chamber works.The sonata for fortepiano and violin recorded here is an interesting repertoire in terms of listening to the history of the development of the violin sonata, and the keyboard instrument not only plays a role as a bass continuo, but is composed as an equal to the violin, and gorgeous melodies are woven in. The work is a work that will make you aware of its charms. The violinist, Albrecht Breuninger, has had a spectacular career, winning the second prize at the 1997 Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition, following Nicolai Znaider. King International
