Alice's long-awaited recording of Grieg: Concerto! This is the sixth album under Alice's name (other than Best, DUO, and Collaboration). This will be her first concerto recording in 6 years since 2010, this time with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in her hometown Munich (the previous concerto was recorded with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra). (The previous concerto was with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.) The coupling includes several pieces from "Lyric Pieces," in which Grieg's rich lyricism is on full display, and two pieces from "Peer Gynt," a solo piano version by the composer himself.
