Bach (1685-1750)

Description:

Frank Peter Zimmermann re-recorded Bach's Violin Concerto for the first time in almost 30 years! He also performs with his son Serge. Frank Peter Zimmermann is a German orthodox violinist. His latest recording in April 2017 is his second recording of Bach's Violin Concertos (including the Violin Concerto in D and the Violin Concerto in D), which was released on the Hensler label in Germany to great acclaim. The first recording was made in 1988 with the English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Jeffrey Tate, so it has been almost 30 years since the last recording. Zimmermann is known for his graceful and fragrant tone, and his Bach is nothing short of exquisite. The Berlin Baroque Soloists were formed in 1995 by the principal players of the Berlin Philharmonic. Please enjoy the finest Bach music performed by these virtuoso musicians.Zimmermann has successfully restored the lost Violin Concerto No. 1 in D minor, BWV 1052, for harpsichord, for which an autograph score exists as an arrangement for harpsichord. The concerto's intricate, undulating unison theme is impressive, and the dashing solo violin appears immediately after the theme. The solo part is fantastically richly developed, and Schumann praised it as "one of his greatest masterpieces. Zimmermann recorded the work as a concerto for two violins, although it is regarded as the original concerto for oboe and violin. It is performed by his son, Serge Zimmermann! Born in 1991, Serge Zimmermann was taught to play the violin by his mother from the age of five, and in 2000, at the age of only nine, he performed Mozart's Violin Concerto with an orchestra for the first time.In November 2011, she made her Japan debut with the NHK Symphony Orchestra conducted by Neeme Järvi, and since then she has been well known to Japanese fans through her regular performances in Japan. The long-awaited father-son collaboration is also a major highlight of the concert. King International Inc.
