In 2006, Jeff Beck did not release a new album, but he did go on a world tour for the first time in many years, playing only 30 shows. As part of this tour, he performed at a rock festival in Japan in July of the same year. The July 22 show was recorded and broadcast for a TV program, which was also broadcast as a special program on PBS (in the US). This album is a live album from the sound source used for the broadcast, and includes the complete performance including two encores. Only the bassist differs from the later release "Official Bootleg USA '06," and Jeff Beck's guitar technique can be seen more clearly on this album. Also, you can hear the instrumental version of 'People Get Ready,' a vocal number that Rod Stewart sang on Jeff Beck's "Flash" album.This live album, which also features Jeff Beck's signature song 'Blue Wind,' is definitely a must-have for fans of the band!
