Pet Shimmers is a 7-piece indie collective from Brighton, UK that has been steadily gaining an enthusiastic fan base. Pet Shimmers is a seven-piece indie collective from the UK, consisting of Oliver Wilde, a collaborator with Katy J Pearson, and William Carkeet, who also works with Robbie & Mon, and has toured with artists such as Porridge Radio and Happyness in the UK.The appeal of their third album, "Anon Playable Cloud," which is being released for the first time on vinyl worldwide, is that it is just full of weird sounds. From the opening track, "Swan Ton," the chaotic but colorful sounds that sound like they were made for toy land are sparkling and bouncing, and even the lead track, "Sonder," is catchy and friendly despite the weirdness and noise mixed in. Edgelord" to "Wet Chems," Pet Shimmers has created a song that cooks up an experimental indie sound reminiscent of Alex G's past tour support, with a smattering of experimental phrases used The banjo sound helps to create a softness.
