Downt's first release in 2023 is a 10-minute long 10" including the intro! The B-side is a special edition with etching designed by the band members! Formed in the spring of 2021, downt started their activities with their first live performance in June, and released their first album "downt" from ungulates in October, instantly becoming a hot topic at record stores and distros including Flake Records and Holiday! By the beginning of 2022, they had sold out 500 CDs (250 CTs) in less than 3 months.In June, they released their EP "SAKANA e.p.", and their release tour held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka (Tokyo: Niyoda FEVER) was SOLD OUT at all venues, and they were selected from over 4000 applicants to perform at the ROOKIE A GO-GO stage, the gateway to success for newcomers at the Fuji Rock Festival. They have also performed at other outdoor festivals around the country, gradually increasing their presence and expanding the scope of their activities. The first release in 2023, following the new album, will be the band's new innovative work, "13th Moon," an over 8-minute epic, with the B-side of the album being released on a special 10-inch etched 10-inch disc designed by the band members. The B-side of the album was released as a special 10" vinyl with etching designed by the band members. Downt is currently one of the most eagerly awaited artists.
