The latest release of the immortal classic 1st album, which also features Robb Flynn (MACHINE HEAD), has been reissued on 2CD! VIO-LENCE, a band representing the second generation of Bay Area thrash metal, is back in full force with their latest release "Let The World Burn", released this spring for the first time in 29 years. Formed in 1985 in the San Francisco Bay Area, VIO-LENCE quickly made a name for themselves with their crunchy guitar riffs inspired by the likes of EXODUS and SLAYER. After Robb Flynn, who would later form MACHINE HEAD, joined the band, they released their immortal first album, "Eternal Nightmare" (1988), which cemented their popularity and status. The band officially reunited in 2019, with a one-off live revival and leader Phil Demmel (G) joining MACHINE HEAD. Since then, the band has continued to tour and participate in festivals with the thrashers of yesteryear.This is the memorable first album released in 1988. It was released on Mechanic, a sub-label of MCA, a major label that later handled DREAM THEATER and VOIVOD. It was a debut album with the best songs selected from the demos that had been released up to that point, and it was a smooth start that attracted a lot of attention due to the high publicity at that time. However, due to the contractual situation with the label, the distribution of the album was not good after the band's breakup, and it was treated as a scrapped album for a long time. This time, a bonus disc includes a live performance in San Francisco in 2001, when the band was temporarily reunited. Japan pre-release (intl: 10/28)
