Description:
A winner of the first prize at the first Richter International Piano Competition in 2005, he has already performed his masterpieces in many countries around the world. His powerful playing is perfectly suited for Rachmaninoff's works. Rachmaninoff composed mainly for the piano over a 45-year period. His first work, Prelude Op. 23, was followed in 1910 by the 13 Preludes Op. 32. In total, there are 13 pieces, and all major and minor keys except C-sharp minor are used as the main key of each piece. C-sharp minor is used in the famous Prelude Op. 3, No. 2. This dramatic and melancholy work, with its darkly quieting chords, is one of Rachmaninoff's most memorable compositions, and immediately became one of his most popular works. It is still popular today in various arrangements, classical introductions, and in the movie "Shine.[Comment provided by I.V. Inc.
