Deicide

Description:

Death metal's greatest demons, Deicide, release their first new album in six years! The album is a parade of brutal, ebullient, yet hook-laden riffs, and Glen Benton (B,Vo) declares that it is "a return to the style of the 90s. Don't miss out on this masterpiece, which Glen Benton (B,Vo) declares to be "a return to the style of the 90's"! The debut album by Deicide in 1990 was a shock to the ears, as bands such as Morbid Angel, Obituary, and Cannibal Corpse debuted one after another and a whole new genre of death metal became a major trend. Deicide, who had maintained a thoroughly satanic image, was a unique entity at a time when bands such as Morbid Angel, Obituary, and Cannibal Corpse were making their debut, and a whole new genre of death metal was sweeping the scene. The band's leader, Glen Benton, who was in charge of bass and vocals, branded an inverted cross on his forehead. Although he is still active in the band at the age of 56, at the time it seemed as if he might actually take his own life. His second album, "Legion" (1992), is a 29-minute masterpiece. It is a historical masterpiece that is still revered by enthusiasts around the world more than 30 years after its release as "Death Metal's version of 'Reign in Blood'". Deicide has been releasing albums rather consistently since then, but after "Overtures of Blasphemy" in 2006, they have kept silence for 6 years. However, the long-awaited new album will finally be released. The album is titled "Banished by Sin" and features new guitarist Taylor Nordberg, who has played in numerous death metal bands such as Massacre and Inhuman Condition, etc. Deicide is always Deicide. Glenn has stated that this album is "a return to the style of the 90's," and as a fan of the band, I can't get enough. It's just wicked and brutal. But the riffs and melodies have clear hooks and are accessible. As a Deicide fanatic, it was worth the six-year wait.It is truly the return of the Devil King!
