The music is composed by Kotringo, who was discovered by Ryuichi Sakamoto and made his debut after sending a demo tape to a radio program. Kotringo is highly acclaimed not only in the pop music scene but also as a musician for his outstanding piano performance. He also received the Japan Academy Prize for Best Music Award and the Mainichi Film Concours for Best Music Award for the animated feature film "In a Corner of the World". In this film, his ever-changing music, sometimes light, sometimes mysterious, adds depth to the story.
