Andrea Motis, a female trumpeter and jazz singer, collaborates with a big band on this pleasant Latin-inspired album, released simultaneously on CD and LP. Andrea Motis is a female trumpeter and jazz singer who has attracted worldwide attention. She has collaborated with a big band to create a Latin-inspired album. Born in Barcelona, Spain, Andrea Motis began studying trumpet at the age of 7 and studied jazz with Joan Chamorro at the Escuela Municipal de Musica de San Andreu, and in 2012 she was featured on stage with Quincy Jones at a jazz festival in Spain. 2017 he released his world debut album, "Emotional Dance". In her mid-twenties, she has already become a superstar in the Spanish and international jazz world. In the spring of 2021, a collaboration with the WDR Big Band was realized. Andrea Motis will provide most of the music, and Big Band leader Mike Mossman will conduct and arrange all the pieces.The result is an atmospheric Latin album. Charming vocals reminiscent of Astrud Gilberto combine with a groovy big band groove to create a dreamy and comfortable atmosphere.
