Description:

Spöring's Cantata Series reveals the depths of Bach's works. Christoph Spöring, a leading figure in the world of German classical music, has been actively performing and recording with Das Neue Orkestadter and Kohl's Musiks Köln. He has recorded Bach's cantatas for DHM, starting with Cantata No. 80 "We God is a Firm Fortress," followed by "Lutheran Cantatas," "Cantatas to the Glory of God," and "Cantatas in Praise of God," all of which are "intense in their pursuit of interpretation as theology," "new interpretations of music and words," and "large-scale recordings of Bach's music. The Cantatas have received worldwide acclaim for their "new interpretations of the music" and "homogeneous and harmonious persuasiveness in the interaction between choir and orchestra without emphasis on the large-scale, balanced tempi, and skillful solistic accents expressed through subtlety. This album contains cantatas from the second year of Bach's Leipzig period, written between 1724 and 1725. These cantatas, which Bach composed between Trinity Sunday (the first Sunday after Pentecost) in 1724 and Easter 1725, have a grand, large-scale choral first, a brief four-part chorus with the final section of the chorale at the end, and a middle section that uses not the chorale text itself but In the middle section, the chorale text itself is not used, but paraphrased to make it suitable as a recitative or aria verse, and so on. The expressive orchestration in No. 127 is a unique and unique feature of this year's concert, and is not found in the chorale text itself. The expressive orchestration in No. 127 is unlike anything that had come before, and it is the most expressive approach to the Passion Passion section of the year. The year also saw Bach's inventiveness reflected in the music, as there were almost no reenactments of his older works, but only performances of his newer works.Spelling has studied these pieces from many perspectives, including religious understanding, playing style, and instrumentation, and has come up with a novel and carefully thought-out new interpretation for his recordings.
