Jean-Marc Luisada, a master musician who embodies the fantasies that spring from music, is a unique heir to the tradition of French romantic pianism, including Alfred Cortot and Sanson Francois, and has been warming up to this Schumann album for 30 years. This is the international release of the Schumann album that Jean-Marc Ruizada has been working on for the past 30 years. Luisada is well known for his Chopin performances, but he is also highly acclaimed for his Schumann interpretations, including his 2000 RCA recording of the "Carnival" album, whose highly individual interpretation, along with Pierre et Gilles' garish cover photo, was the talk of the town. In fact, Luisada had recorded two of his own solo albums, "David's Alliance Dances" and "Fumoresques," long before that, in 1988, for Harmonic Records, a French label with a strong personality.Although a winner of the Chopin Competition, she chose these two Schumann pieces for her second solo album, a spirit that is typical of Luisada, who was fascinated by the magic of Schumann's music! The favorable reception of this album led to a contract with DG and international performance activities starting in 1990. Thirty years have passed since that first Schumann album, and Luisada, now at the peak of his maturity (・・・・), returns to these two related pieces with a dense and matured interpretation that is completely different in dimension from the previous recording, and approaches Schumann's true essence in this new recording. The "David's Alliance Dances," in which Florestan and Eusebius, to whom Schumann entrusted his artistic creed, intersect, and the "Fumoreschke," whose title is derived from the German word "Humor," meaning humor, in which various moods appear in turn, changing expression and shifting moods, are both Schumann's most unique pieces. In addition to two of Schumann's most unique and fantastical piano pieces, "Trommelai," "Melody," and "The Delightful Farmer" are also included. Literally 30 years of performance experience and thought have culminated here.The album was produced by Cord Gerben, a pianist who excels at accompaniment for songs and was once a famous producer for Deutsche Grammophon. Gerben, who also produced the previous album "Chopin: 14 Waltzes," fell in love with Luisada's talent after hearing her Schumann album for Harmonic Records, and decided to sign her to DG. As producer, Gerben was able to realize a session that would fully demonstrate Luisada's talent. The recording session took place at the Church of Jesus Christ in Berlin, the same church that produced many great recordings by Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic. The recording has a clear, lingering sound with ample volume, but never over-sounding. This is the first time Luisada has attempted to conduct a recording session in Germany, and with an optimal recording venue and staff, he draws the listener into the world of Schumann's fantasy, which is uniquely his own.
