Primitives, a jangly pop band featuring Paul & Tracy and other leading British indie pop artists of the 80's, released their first album of original music in 23 years since their 2012 cover album "ECHOES AND RHYMES"! This album is based on pop tunes that resonate with VASELINES, noisy pop like JESUS & MARY CHAIN, harmony pop reminiscent of 60's girl pop, and British psychedelic to sunshine pop like BILLY NICHOLS and HOLLIES, C86~jangly pop like THE SHOPASSISTANTS and TALULAH GOSH, nostalgic Brit pop like TEENAGE FANCLUB, and a sound image in sync with UK newcomers like HISTORY OF APPLE PIE, etc.... This is an album that is concentrated with their pop soul, as if it is the sum total of their sound history! The album includes the singles "Lose The Reason" and "Spin-O-Rama," which sold out immediately upon release.The songs are so bright and catchy that it is no wonder Morrissey fell in love with them so much that he wore their band T-shirts at the time. All of the songs could be cut as singles or become club anthems!
