Description:
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of his birth, composer Georgy Sviridov's masterpiece collection 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of his birth. A Soviet composer under Shostakovich, his booming march "Time to Go Forward" was used for many years as the theme song for the Moscow Broadcasting Corporation's news programs, and it has become a nostalgic melody that shines on the faces of Russian officials in Japan. Fedoseyev is fond of Sviridov's music and has made efforts to popularize it in Japan by frequently performing "Blowing Snow" and other pieces. Here, Fedoseev has collected old recordings of Sviridov's music on melody and put them on CD. It contains all of Sviridov's major works and is ideal for a collection as a first disc. You can enjoy the divine masterpieces of the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra in its heyday. King International
