Formed in 1972 by Jan Bledowski (vl), Maciej Radziejewski (g), and Jacek Gazda (b), who played in Czeslaw Niemen's backing band, and in the 80's, Apostolis Anthimos played in the band after SBB broke up, KRZAK, a Polish heavy blues/jazz-rock band, has been active until '13, going through member changes and breakup/reunion. Their debut live album "BLUES ROCK BAND" released in '81 on Pronit label in Poland was reissued on CD in '25! The album was selected and compiled from the live recordings of the Klub Riviera Remont concert in Warsaw held in late December '79. The aggressive guitar playing with a heavy blues tone, which is the same as the title of "BLUES ROCK BAND", leads the band, while Jan Bledowski's violin and the high-tension rhythm section, which skillfully manages the transition from blues to jazz rock and progressive rock, create a unique jazz rock/progressive rock-oriented instrumental sound. The instrumental sound of the band is developed.Lidek" to "Czakus," heavy jazz rock with aggressive distortion guitar and violin intertwining, and "Dla Fredka," a danceable heavy funk/crossover sound with a drum solo that is pleasantly period-inspired, The heavy boogie number "Skalki" with its avant-garde violin solo is impressive, and the unique sound and style that reflects the long career up to that point can be enjoyed. The master is a newly remastered recording based on archival tapes owned by Polskie Nagrania Muza. Bonus tracks include studio takes of "Przewrotna samba," "Dla Fredka," "Czakus," and "Maszkaron," which were released as singles, and "Skid Row," "Winter Rock" (Blues h-moll czyli), "Smuteczek" ( Dzemowa) Maszynka" radio session.
