Bach-Busoni" by Stephen Hough's treasured son, Shi Yan Wong! Hong Kong-born pianist Shi-Yan Wong, who was discovered by Stephen Hough and studied with Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music, makes his CD debut with a collection of Liszt transcriptions (CKD561), which he further revised himself and supported trumpeter and president of the Royal Academy of Music, Freeman Attwood (CKD621). He also supported the trumpet player Freeman-Attwood (CKD621), who is the president of the Royal Academy of Music. This album explores how Busoni, who is a twin interest of Liszt's, was involved with the great Bach, and challenges him to explore how he himself might go further. From the title piece, "Goltberg," to the final piece, "Chaconne," Busoni makes full use of the modern piano's capabilities to create an impressive expressive work. Naxos Japan
