Pallbearer

Description:

Pallbearer, one of America's leading doom metal bands, releases their first new album in four years! This album, which was born after a difficult birth, is a masterpiece that is both gloomy and beautiful at the same time, reflecting modern society with its pandemics and wars. Pallbearer was formed in 2008 by Brett Campbell (G, Vo) and Joseph D. Rowland (B), and in 2010 they recorded a demo. Their debut album, "Sorrow and Extinction," was critically acclaimed on Pitchfork and other major music sites around the world, and they quickly rose to stardom. They quickly rose to stardom. Their second album, 2002's Foundations of Burden, was even better received than the first, being named Best New Music by Pitchfork and Best Album of the Year by Decibel Magazine. As a result, they moved to Europe's largest label, Nuclear Blast, and their third album, "Heartless," released in 2005, swallowed everything from grunge to progressive rock and even made it to the Billboard charts. The band's fourth album, "Forgotten Days" (2008), produced by Randall Dunn, known for his work with SUNN O))) and Earth, also delivered a very heavy style. Now they are releasing their fifth album, "Mind Burns Alive". The four-year process of making this album was not an easy one: the first recording session in 2008 was cancelled due to a pandemic, and the second attempt in 2010 did not go well either. Brett felt that the album was cursed. In the end, this album was completed in the third session in 1923. The album, the result of such a difficult birth, is a masterpiece cloaked in the gloom that is typical of Pallbearer. Pandemic and war.The sound is dark and beautiful at the same time, as if reflecting the modern society that brings suffering to people all over the world. This is doom metal. This is the soundtrack to a world without hope! Members】Brett Campbell (vocals/guitar)Devin Holt (guitar)Joseph D. Rowland (bass)Mark Leary (drums)
