Everything about singer Aki Yashiro Aki Yashiro, the "Queen of Enka" who sadly passed away last December. The record company that Aki Yashiro worked for the longest during her lifetime was Nippon Columbia. This collection includes her re-recorded "Funauta" and "Ame no Boujo" and other big hits from her Columbia days, singles from her Columbia days, and a live recording of her first jazz concert with a Japanese jazz master, "Aki Yashiro to Suteki na Gentleman no Ongakukai," as well as many Western music covers. This 3-CD set includes jazz and blues songs selected from the concept albums "MOOD" and "VOICE", and the blues album "Aika-aiuta-" produced by Yobito Teraoka, as well as songs from all genres left over from Aki Yashiro's Columbia days.
