Adobe Home" is the first new solo album in 10 years from Jeff Larson, the singer/songwriter who can be called the standard bearer of the Breezy Rock movement! This album is the culmination of Jeff's career to date and a new milestone for him as a solo artist. After CLOSE CIRCLE, Jeff had no plans to produce an album, and gradually began working on the audio production side of things. Jerry Beckley asked me to work on his solo archival work, which evolved into the American archival work. Meanwhile, new recordings were being co-written, backed by chorus, recorded, and co-produced. Then the Corona Pandemic became a major factor, and he started a routine of writing and recording a song a week, which reset him. It also happened to be a good opportunity for the album's co-producer, Jerry Beckley, who has been spending a lot of time in Australia in recent years, to get back into the studio, write and finish songs, and begin laying the groundwork for the album's production.When Jeff first started composing music, he was purely pursuing the quality of the music and was not caught up in business. He has returned to those original intentions. At the same time, he has taken on new challenges, which has brought him great joy. Jeff will be moving to the San Diego neighborhood of California in 2020 to live right next door to the Carrillo Ranch Preserve, which preserves the early California ranching style. The symbol of this is the brick house "ADOBE HOME," the title of this album. The concept of the album was to combine the style of past songs with a new direction. About half of the album could be described as "Americana," but from there, the album expands into power pop, jazz, bossa nova, and more. The songs are selected from over 30 songs written and recorded by Jeff during the pandemic, and include collaborations with many of his friends.These friends include Jerry Beckley, former Fountains of Wayne drummer Flyan Young, Robert Lamb, Jason Sheff, and others around Chicago (the group), and another newly credited in Jeff's work is legendary Another newly credited Jeff's work is legendary singer/songwriter Jack Tempchin, who has provided the Eagles with some of their best-known songs. Tempchin has been a songwriting partner of Glenn Frey since the 80's, and has contributed many of his songs to the top of the charts.
