This is the second album in two years by the instrumental group "Marriage Material". Marriage Material is currently based in Berlin, and has toured and recorded countless albums as a sideman for legends such as Weather Report, Tribal Tech, Frank Zappa, Alan Holdsworth, Jaco Pastorius, Chick Corea, and many more. This four-piece band has played on countless albums and tours as sidemen for legends such as Zappa, Alan Holdsworth, Jaco Pastorius, and Chick Corea. The band creates high-energy music with the precise drumming of Felix Lehrman and the resonant groove of bassist Thomas Stieger, with the kaleidoscopic, shimmering vibe of guitarist Arto Makela and percussionist Raphael Meinhardt.The theme of "cinematic jazz," as the band defines it, is also prevalent throughout the album, emphasizing the improvisational elements of jazz through cinematic reinterpretations of them. Enchantment Under the Sea," depicted in the album artwork, is the name of a high school dance competition in the movie "Back to the Future," and was chosen as a fitting title for the album. This is a piece that takes you to another world, created by imagining the idea of a jellyfish or an octopus gently floating under the surface of the sea, dancing gracefully and changing colors to look beautiful.
