The album is now available in a deluxe edition to commemorate its 30th anniversary! This 3-CD analog set includes the latest remastered recordings and 15 previously unreleased outtakes/demos. Vienna is the unit of the (fake) Vienna brothers, Micky Melchiondo aka Dean Vienna and Aaron Freeman aka Gene Vienna! They are the "behind-the-scenes" unit of the 90's that made their name in the world with their lo-fi pop-based sound, which was based on all kinds of sounds and styles, topped with their own unique sense of humor, and did whatever they wanted. Their 1994 album, "CHOCOLATE AND CHEESE," is a collection of songs from their longtime collaborators,This album is still etched in people's memories as a classic alternative rock album. This album, which exploded with the duo's brilliance and outrageous humor, is now available in a deluxe edition celebrating its 30th anniversary! The (lost?) masterpiece of alternative rock is now available in a deluxe edition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release! This deluxe edition of the classic (lost?) alternative rock album will be released only as a 3-CD analog set, featuring the latest remastered soundtracks and many previously unreleased outtakes and demos. The remastering was done by Bernie Grundman, a renowned engineer who has worked on such masterpieces as Michael Jackson's "THRILLER" and Steely Dan's "AJA". The selection of Bernie Grundman is too good to be true, but he not only remastered the original album, but also mastered 15 previously unreleased tracks that were left on cassette tapes and DAT tapes in the archives of the band members.The success of "Push Th' Little Daisies" from 1992's "PURE GUAVA" was followed by the release of "CHOCOLATE AND CHEESE" in 1994, which marked the beginning of a new chapter for Dean & Jean Vienna, as they moved from four-track home recordings to professional studio recordings, It marked the beginning of a new chapter for Vienna, consisting of Dean & Jean, as they transitioned from four-track home recording to professional studio recording.
