Tenor player Ryan Oliver of the Cooker's Quintet was a man at Frankie's Jazz Club in Canada in July 2023. A musical journey rooted in the vibrant jazz landscape of the 1960s. This is hard bop at its best. And jazz, blues, and gospel singer Dee Daniels graces the stage as a special guest with her soulful touch, providing vocals on three songs, including a moving rendition of two songs by Abbey Lincoln and Max Roach, and the fourth, "Trailing Times," a late 1960s song by Composed by Danny Hathaway, it is a timeless song, and the seventh song is a bossa nova classic, all of which provide passionate and soulful emotions.
