＜Live performance of Christian Arminck's inauguration as Music Director The first in a series of recordings by Arminck & the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra! The sixth and latest project with the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, the remarkable inaugural live performance on April 14, 2024 at the excellent acoustics of the Fukuyama Performing Arts Hall! This is an excellent recording of the commemorative performance of the two orchestras, which captured the huge orchestra in all its glory. The recording series of Arminck & Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, who assumed the position of Music Director in April 2024, has started! The long-awaited first recording is the "Alpine Symphony," a piece with a huge orchestra and a high degree of difficulty to perform. The rare polka mazurka "Dragonfly" by Joseph Strauss, performed as an encore piece on the day of the concert, is included in the margins. This is a highly anticipated new recording. This is the second day of recordings of both performances after the appointment of music director, and this performance in Fukuyama had exactly the same program as the 440th Subscription Concert held on the previous day, April 13 in Hiroshima. This is a record of the first concert, which will be held five times a year starting in 2024 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Leaden Rose, the performance venue. The recording is an excellent recording by Brain Corporation, just like the Bruckner works with Tatsuya Shimono that have been released in this project so far.It is also noteworthy that some of Japan's leading players are among the extras.
