George Harrison, who played with The Beatles and went on to record many classic songs as a solo artist, was remembered by a star-studded audience at the Royal Albert Hall on November 29, 2002. This 2CD+2BD live recording of the legendary tribute concert held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 29, 2002, exactly one year after George's passing, was the brainchild of George's wife Olivia Harrison and his close friend Eric Clapton. McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Jules Holland, Jeff Lynne, Monty Python, Tom Petty, who sadly passed away in 2017, Billy Preston, Ravi Shankar, Anoushka Shankar, who was a sitar master, and more. George's many masterpieces and songs that he loved throughout his life were performed by a star-studded lineup, including Tom Petty and Billy Preston, who sadly passed away in 2017, and Anoushka Shankar. George's beloved son, Dani, also participated! The BD includes the full concert and a disc containing the theatrical version of the concert, as well as behind-the-scenes footage, including interviews and rehearsals.The music video is directed by David Leland, who also directed the 1987 film "If You Were Here/Linda the Girl" and directed the music video for the Traveling Wilburys' hit song "Handle With Care," in which George also participated. This work also won a Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video, and this version of "Drummers," which is included at the end of BD2, is included only in this version.A deeply moving song sung by the talented Miyako Kitano that captures the sadness and strength of northern women, the difficulty and beauty of life, in an enka melody.
