The program of recordings, made on the eve of his 80th birthday and using rare instruments from the Museum of Music's collection, includes works by composers whom Christie loved to play, and sometimes whose works he discovered and resurrected. Justin Taylor and de Swarte are also active as the ensemble Le Console. Viola da gamba player Miriam Rignol, born in 1988, has studied with Savard and W. Kuiken, and is also active in ensembles such as Les Arts Florissants. The singing team is also young, but already internationally recognized by Christie, and Thomas Danford is known as the "Eric Clapton of the lute world. Emmanuel Resch-Caserta (Vn) has been the concert master of Les Arts Florissants since 2017.
