TALKIN TO THE TREES, a new album produced with THE CHROME HEARTS, a band comprised of Muscle Shoals legend Spooner Oldham and Willie Nelson's son, Promise of the Real. Here is Neil Young's 10-part musical statement that confronts the challenges of today's world at full speed. An analog LP will be released at the same time. Neil Young is the lone legend of the rock scene. Not only has he released new albums that compile the words he wants to convey to the world today, but he has also continued to release previously unreleased sound sources and a series of rare live archives, and he is a legend who never stops transmitting songs and words. Neil Young's 60-plus years of tumultuous and creative adventures have now taken on a new page. THE CHROME HEARTS is comprised of legendary session musicians and songwriters who honed their craft in Muscle Shoals. Spooner Oldham (organ), whose credits include Aretha Franklin's "Do Right Woman Do Right Man," and Promise Of The Real, who recently worked with Neil Young.Promise Of The Real is comprised of singer/songwriter/musician Micah Nelson (guitar, vocals), son of Willie Nelson, who is also an actor and painter, Corey McCormick (bass, vocals), who has toured with Chris Cornell and Hiroshi Inaba, and Anthony LoGerfo (drums), who has recorded and toured with a wide range of artists, The band was formed in Los Angeles in 2008 and is a rock band with roots in American rock and outlaw country.
